The back room at the Muddy Cup coffee house serves as a meeting place, a performance space, artist showcase, private party room, lounge area for customers. The back room also serves as a performance space; show casing various musicians and play performances. Well known musicianssuch as Marshal Crenshaw and BJ Thomas have performed at the Muddy Cup as well as prominent musicians from the community. The backroom is also home to the Sundog TheatreCompany whom have presented several play performances. The backroom also serves as an artist showcase; each month there is a different artist on display from the community. The Muddy Cup also presents art openings for display artist as well as one time shows for other artists in the community.
